IHG develops a "picking" trolley based on RFID
January 2004. The company IHG, has developed a trolley aimed at "picking" in shops, which informs of its content in real time. The trolley is based on RFIDs in the HF band, and may be used to validate the settlement of losses automatically.

IHG and CENIT test RFIDs in Barcelona airport
January 2004. IHG, together with the Centro de Innovación en el Transporte (CENIT) of the Polytechnic University of Cataluña (UPC), are carrying out comparative trials of the different RFID technologies for their application in the management of baggage in airports.
